Rohit Sharma suffered an injury in the first ODI between India and England in Pune. Mark Wood got the ball on his right hand in the fifth over of the Indian innings. This caused Rohit Sharma to groan in pain. He had to take help of physio to get relief from pain. However the injury was not serious and after some treatment Rohit agreed to play again. But his injury had once given a boost to the Indian team and the fans of the fans. Rohit could not play big innings in first ODI. He became the victim of Ben Stokes scoring 28 runs. Rohit Sharma got hurt by Mark Wood's ball. At a speed of 148 kilometers per hour, the ball fell to the middle stump and came straight. Rohit opened up trying to defend the ball. Also, the ball bounced more than he had expected. In such a situation, the ball started going near the elbow on his arm. Rohit is seen in great pain as soon as the ball hits. But he continued to bat. However, later he had to call the physio. Physio did the necessary treatment after some investigation. After this, the Indian batsman started batting again. This means that the injury was not serious.
Rohit is out after half-century partnership

Rohit faced the England bowlers better. He did not take much risk in the beginning but he definitely got in trouble with some balls. However, Rohit did not allow India to lose wickets cheaply while playing. He scored 28 runs in 42 balls with the help of four fours. He was the victim of Ben Stokes in the 16th over. Then he won India by playing a century of 119 runs. But since then, Rohit could not play ODI match for India due to injury. He was out of Team India due to injury during the tour of New Zealand and Australia.
